Mbappe returns to Real Madrid training after knee injury

Despite the disappointment of not winning any trophy during the last season, the Real Madrid superstar Kylian Mbappe continues to play at an amazing level. After winning the Golden Boot in the World Cup, the Frenchman has continued with his excellent form for the Merengue club at the start of this new season, scoring eight goals and providing two assists in eight games played so far.

The forward joined the French national team for this international break, but was quick to return to Real Madrid as he suffered an injury at the brink of half-time in the first game of this break.

There was significant concern in the Spanish capital with this injury suffered by the key Merengue forward, especially because the problem was again in his left knee, the same knee where he has faced several problems in recent past, also raising some controversy during the last season.

However, fortunately, his injury did not turn out to be serious, as he was suffering from a hyperextension of the posterior capsule of his left knee.

In fact, MARCA reports that Mbappe is already training at Valdebebas, and completed an individual session today as the players remaining at the club restarted training under Jose Mourinho. The Frenchman trained both indoors and on the pitch, both with and without the ball, which indicates that he is at a good physical level. For now, he is aiming to return to full fitness for the game against Villarreal on Saturday.

After suffering the injury on 25th September and returning to Spain on 26th, the French star continued to recover away from the club, by Real Madrid's permission. But now, he has returned to train, and hopefully, he will be able to work with the rest of his teammates in the coming few days, and be able to play at his best level in the upcoming game against Villarreal.
