Medeama midfielder Prince Owusu says the Yellow and Mauves want nothing less than victory when Swedru All Blacks visit TnA Stadium on Sunday.
Ghana Premier League action heats up in Tarkwa this weekend, and Medeama SC midfielder Prince Owusu has made the club's intentions clear: nothing short of a win will do against Swedru All Blacks.
The Yellow and Mauves welcome All Blacks to TnA Stadium on Sunday, November 8, for their Week 10 fixture, with kickoff set for 3 pm. Owusu, speaking ahead of the clash, told supporters the squad is fully focused on collecting maximum points at home.
"For this game, we are going in for a win. We don't want any other result," Owusu said. He refused to put a number on the goals Medeama might score, but stressed the objective is simple: finish the afternoon with all three points.
The midfielder also spoke about the role he and his fellow midfielders will play in the final third. They are ready to feed the strikers and help them score more, he explained, and while the midfield wants to chip in with goals too, the priority is creating chances for the attackers if the goals do not come their way.
With the season now ten matches deep, every point matters in the title and top-half race. Medeama will be counting on home support and a midfield that is ready to work for the forwards as they chase a statement result on Sunday.
