Mike Tyson insists he will 'absolutely' fight again in 2021

Former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, 54-years-old, intends to move forward with his plan to have continue with exhibition fights in 2021.

Boxing legend Tyson, 54, made his shock return against Jones Jr in the November showdown in Los Angeles, and appeared to dominate the contest which was ultimately recorded as a draw.

Asked during an Instagram Live with Patrick Mouratoglou whether he intends to dance under the lights again this year, Tyson replied: "Yeah, absolutely. It’ll be better this time." He added: "It was interesting. I felt really good, I felt confident. I felt that I could do it again." One of the possible opponents is four time heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield, who holds two wins over Tyson. In the aftermath of Tyson's recent return, Holyfield was pushing hard for a third fight to happen this year. "This is the fight that must happen for both our legacies. Saturday night you said you were ready to fight me, so sign the contract and get in the ring, Tyson. The world is waiting and it's on you now. I'm ready," Holyfield said. "My side tried to make the fight happen and we got nothing but excuses. Now I can see why he wanted a tune-up fight before thinking about fighting me. Roy Jones was a good local opponent for Mike but a fight with me would be a global event and the only fight that anyone wants to see is a fight between us. There is absolutely no reason why we shouldn't make it happen."
