Mike Tyson tells Deontay Wilder to stop making excuses for Tyson Fury defeat

Mike Tyson has told Deontay Wilder to ‘get his head out of his butt’ and get back in the ring as soon as he can. Wilder lost his WBC heavyweight crown to Fury with a seventh-round stoppage on February 22 in Las Vegas.

Since that defeat, the Bronze Bomber has produced many claims, sometimes outlandish, as to why he lost the rematch. And on Saturday he was back at it again - this time stating he believed Fury put 'something the size and shape of an egg-weight' in his gloves, which left a dent in his head.

At present Tyson Fury holds the WBC title and Anthony Joshua owns the WBA, IBF and WBO belts. Regarding his namesake Fury, Tyson told ESPN: “I think he’s very good. “He looks like he’s not intimidating, but he’s really elusive, he really knows how to box. “He’s really smart and he’s really difficult to hit and he’s 7ft, damn near. He’s a monster.” In recent weeks, Fury has faced remarkable accusations from former opponent Wilder, who has claimed he cheated in their fights. Wilder alleged the ‘Gypsy King’ tampered with his gloves to put his fist in an improper position. He added that he believes Fury had a hard object concealed within his gloves to deal extra damage.
