A 90+5 winner from substitute Dennis Modzaka kept Bechem United perfect at home and sealed a 2-1 Ghana Premier League thriller over FC Samartex.
Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park stays a fortress. Bechem United beat FC Samartex 2-1 on Sunday in Week 10 of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League, with substitute Dennis Modzaka scoring deep in stoppage time to keep The Hunters unbeaten at home this season.
Bechem began the game on the front foot and got their reward in the 39th minute. Kelvin Appiah picked out Augustine Okrah with a sharp pass, and Okrah stayed calm in front of goal to finish and give the hosts a 1-0 lead going into the break.
Samartex came out for the second half with real purpose. Gabriel Osei levelled the score in the 57th minute, and the Timber Giants pushed on, looking to end Bechem's home run. For long spells it seemed the game would finish level.
Modzaka had other ideas. Coming off the bench, he struck in the 90th minute plus five to win it for Bechem and send the home crowd wild. The win extends the club's perfect home record to five matches, and it shows the kind of late-game resilience that can shape a title or top-half push in Ghana's top flight.
