Moussa Sissoko and other Tottenham players are back from injury- Mourinho

Share

Moussa Sissoko and three of his teammates have all recovered and joined the rest of their colleagues in training. The players who are part of the first team will be available when the English Primer League resume after the pandemic to help the team get to a better position on the league table.

But the manager made it known that the fact that the players are back doesn't mean there are going to play when the league start because recovery from injury is different from ready to play football.

According to Jose, "Harry Kane, Son and Sissoko, are all of them are fine. I think with a couple of weeks of normal training, when the authorities tell us we can train normally I think in a couple of weeks, the boys will be ready to play, of potential. I think nobody can do that at this moment.

For us, of course, it is a great feeling, because we finished the period with that defeat at Leipzig, where we were really, really in trouble to have 11 players, including attacking players, and at this moment, Lamela, Son, Dele and Kane, everybody is fit. Mourinho told sky sports on Wednesday. He added,

They are training, and training is what is at the moment, training has a lot of limitations. We can't compete, we cannot do one versus one, we have to keep a certain distance, we cannot compete".

Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Moussa Sissoko, Steven Bergwijn, Heung Min Son and Harry Kane have all recovered from their injuries.

The France international have not played since suffering a knee injury during the New Year's Day defeat at Southampton.
