Net’s Kyrie Irving back on the court season with season debut win

There is no better time to be a Brooklyn Nets fan than when Kyrie Irving returns to the court.

Despite Irving's part-time status, he was unable to play home games. Irving refuses to get vaccinated for personal reasons, which is contrary to what the NBA and city of New York bwelieves.

Kyrie Irving had a spectacular fourth quarter, shooting 10 of his 22 points along with rallying back from a 19-point deficit. On Wednesday night, the Brooklyn Nets triumphed behind his efforts in a 129-121 victory over the host team Indiana Pacers.

The Nets took control and pace of the game after rallying when Patty Mills hit a clutch 3-point dagger for a 107-106 lead with 7:23. Irving was able to hit most of his shots consistently, pushing the lead to 111-106 and later making his free throws to cement them at a comfortable 123-113 lead with 2:17 remaining on the clock.

Irving, along with his father, Drederick, sitting at courtside, showed his support as his son shot 9 of 17 from the field with 31:59 minutes of on-court action. This is his first game since Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinals in Milwaukee before injuring his ankle.

Kevin Durant led scoring with 39 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. James Harden chipped in 18 while LaMarcus Aldridge added 13 and DeAndre' Bembry and Nic Claxton had 12 apiece as the Brooklyn Nets outscored the Pacers 35-20 in the fourth quarter.

With Irving's return , the Brookly Nets look formidable and is set to take the league by storm. Now, only time would tell if they are coming in for the postseason as legit contenders.

The Nets are set to host the Bucks in a Friday night's game.
