Lando Norris wins a chaotic São Paulo GP, Max Verstappen charges from 21st to second, and Mercedes lock up the constructors' crown.
Lando Norris was the class of the field at Interlagos, taking victory in the São Paulo Grand Prix after a race that never stopped throwing up drama. The McLaren driver kept his head while chaos unfolded around him and brought it home in commanding fashion.
The biggest talking point was Max Verstappen. The Red Bull driver started from 21st on the grid and carved his way through the field to finish second, a comeback that had Interlagos buzzing and reminded everyone how dangerous he is when he has nothing to lose.
Mercedes had their own reason to celebrate. Kimi Antonelli, the newly crowned world champion, battled tyre problems and had to settle for fifth. With George Russell finishing fourth, though, the team's haul was more than enough to seal the Formula One constructors' world championship.
It was a day of recovery drives, tyre headaches and silverware for the Silver Arrows, with Norris standing tallest on the podium in São Paulo.
