Ochai Agbaji, whose dad hails from Nigeria, won the NCAA Most Outstanding Player for the NCAA Final Four tournament, and in the process, fired Kansas Jayhawks to the NCAA Basketball National Championship.

On the back of a red hot senior season for Oak Park High School, Ochai Agbaji got offers to play in Power 5 basketball programs, and eventually settled for the University of Kansas.

In his first three seasons with the University of Kansas, he was averaging 8.5, 10.0 and 14.1 points. However, Ochai saved the best for last, as he averaged 18.8 points in his final season with Kansas and on the 5th of April, 2022, he won the National Championship, while also winning the Most Outstanding Player of the Tournament award.

Ochai’s best game of the tournament came in against Villavona and in this game, he made 6 three point shots to help his team win that game.

Ochai is set to enter the NBA draft this year, and with his level of performance at the NCAA tournament, he looks like he could go in the first round or early second round of the draft.
