ODION IGHALO IMPRESS MANCHESTER UNITED MANAGER OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER

Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been impressed with the performance of Nigeria striker Odion Ighalo and believes the club could offer him a permanent contract.

30-year-old Ighalo joined Manchester United from Chines Super League side Shanghai Shenhua as a stop-gap on the final day of the January transfer window after the injury of striker Marcus Rasford.

The Nigeria striker loan deal in United did not include an option to buy in the summer but his performance so far has promoted the head coach of the Red Devil to consider extending Ighalo stay.

According to Solskjaer, the player offers more of a penalty box presence than his strikers. He told Sky Sports: "It doesn't hurt (Living the dream) but he's here because he is a goalscorer and a different type of striker for us.

"We might get to summer and think we want to extend this who knows? He comes in like a breath of fresh air as well. He had chances in his five minutes against Chelsea, he scored against Brugge. He had a chance against Watford, he had a very good save against Everton and he doesn't miss the chance target very often.

Even for Anthony Martial, Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford to lean that it is where the sharks are swimming. It is comfortable outside the box and you can have a few shots. It's in there where it might be a bit tougher and you might get hurt and that is where you get a goal. said Ole Gunner Solskjaer.

Ighalo started three games for United and scored 3 goals since he arrived from China to Manchester United. And his records has been impressive which many Manchester United supporters believe he can be signing if giving a permanent deal.
