OSIMHEN IS SET TO MISS 2021 AFCON

Nigeria suffers a major blow as Osimhen has been ruled out of the African Cup of Nations due to an injury. The Nigeria youngster became injured during the Parthenopeans’ 3-2 Serie A defeat to Inter Milan on Sunday evening at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza. The player is doing well and will remain under observation for the next few days. Osimhen is expected to return to action in three months.” Osimhen will not be ready to play for the African Cup of Nations. The Lagos-born striker played a key role in Nigeria’s qualification for the 2022 Fifa World Cup play-offs. He has scored nine goals in his last ten matches for Nigeria in all competitions. Also, he will miss at least 16 Serie A matches for the Napoli.
