UFC has listed fighter Paige VanZant in the same lightweight division as former featherweight champions Conor McGregor.
Although the UFC doesn’t have a women's lightweight division, it said Paige has put on 20 pounds than her supposed weight.
The 26-year-old, who currently weighs155lbs rather than her usual 125lbs, has therefore, been listed as a lightweight.
Reacting to the development, Paige said she was surprised by the weight ascribed to her and described it as confusing.
"I was like, 'That's not possible'...I thought they edited the picture to get a response from me,” she said, as quoted by SPORTbible.
“I'm not at Team Alpha Male anymore, which is fine you know teams change...I'm so confused."
Paige’s last fight came more than two years ago, when she defeated Rachael Ostovich on points in January 2018.
Before the, she had suffered consecutive losses to Michelle Waterson and Jessica-Rose Clark.
She is, however, scheduled for a fight on July 11, having been sidelines by injuries since March.
