Bryce Young throws for 281 yards and two scores while Chuba Hubbard rushes for 120 as Carolina sinks a banged-up Philadelphia side.
The Carolina Panthers are making noise. They beat a short-handed Philadelphia Eagles team to move to 3-2, while the Eagles slid to 2-4 and are in real trouble.
Bryce Young ran the show for Carolina with 281 passing yards and two touchdown connections with Tommy Tremble. Chuba Hubbard gave the offense a steady rushing attack, piling up 120 yards on the ground and adding a touchdown of his own. After the break, the Panthers took control and kept picking Philadelphia apart.
The Eagles were without two of their biggest weapons. Quarterback Jalen Hurts is on injured reserve with a blood clot in his calf and will miss at least four games. Running back Saquon Barkley was also out. Tanner McKee got the start under center and finished 26 of 45 for 215 yards and a touchdown, but Philadelphia never found enough rhythm to threaten Carolina.
Elsewhere around the league, Chicago held off a late Atlanta comeback bid in their quarterback's return to the lineup, and the Cleveland Browns pulled off an upset over the Baltimore Ravens with Lamar Jackson sidelined. Week 6 delivered chaos, and the standings are shifting.
