Beibhinn Parsons crossed for three tries as Ireland beat South Africa again in Cape Town to finish their WXV Global Series run in style.
South Africa's women had a chance to hit back on home soil in Cape Town, but Ireland had other ideas. Beibhinn Parsons ran riot with a hat-trick of tries as the visitors beat the Springbok Women for the second time in a row and took the series.
The result closes out Ireland's WXV Global Series campaign on a high. Back-to-back wins on the road is no small feat, and Parsons' three-try performance was the standout moment of the finale.
For South Africa, the series is a tough lesson against one of the stronger sides in the women's game. Playing in front of home support, the Springboks wanted to turn the tide, but Ireland's attacking edge proved too much once again.
Parsons has long been one of the most dangerous finishers in women's rugby, and this display only adds to that reputation. The Springbok Women now have to regroup and take what they can from facing top-level opposition as they keep building their programme.
