PSG midfielder Aminata Diallo, 26, has been arrested in connection with an attack on her PSG teammate Kheira Hamraoui, 31. https://twitter.com/ESPNFC/status/1458416726568226818?s=20 L’Equipe has reported that the attack happened after a team get-together on November 4th. Kheira Hamraoui went to a team dinner at a restaurant around Bois de Boulogne in Paris, and returned home with some of her teammates, including Diallo, who was the pilot of the car. At approximately 10pm, two masked men approached the car, one of which managed to open the passenger door and drag Hamraoui from the car. L’Equipe mentions that the men began to attack the player’s legs with an iron bar before running away from the scene. The reports claim Diallo hired the two masked men to attack her teammate in an attempt to injure her, so she could take her position with the team and get more playing time. PSG have since released a statement, and it reads as: Paris Saint-Germain take note of Aminata Diallo's police custody this morning by the Versailles SRPJ as part of the proceedings initiated following an assault last Thursday evening against club players." "Paris Saint-Germain condemns in the strongest possible terms the violence committed." “Since Thursday evening November 4, the Club has taken all the necessary measures to guarantee the health, well-being and safety of its players." “Paris Saint-Germain is working with the Versailles SRPJ to shed light on the facts. The Club is attentive to the progress of the procedure and will study the follow-up to be given to it.”   More to come.
