PSG to earn more money from Champions League than winners Bayern Munich

Share

PSG earned more in revenue from the 2019-20 UEFA Champions League than any other team despite finishing the competition as runners-up.

The French giants came close to winning their first ever Champions League title, but lost the final to a sharp Bayern Munich.

Despite running the German heavyweights close, Thomas Tuchel’s side lost the game by a lone goal scored by Kingsley Coman.

Swiss Ramble, however, estimated that PSG will earn more in revenue than any other club in Europe’s top five leagues.

The Ligue 1 side earned a staggering amount of £121 million with Bayern pocketing £117.3 million despite winning the competition.

Barcelona (£104 million), Manchester City (£89.4 million) and Atletico Madrid (£85.8m) complete the top five earning clubs.
