Share

Price Waterhouse Cooper's private firm has questioned the Confederation of African Football finances and has revealed evidence of a potential element of mismanagement and possible abuse of power.

" The accounting records of Caf are unreliable and not trustworthy" the report began as per Reuters," Based upon the procedures performed and document reviewed, several  potential abuse of power were found in key areas of financial and operations of Caf.

Given the serious nature of certain findings which identified from the preliminary due-diligence, we cannot rule out the possibility of potential irregularities."

According to Reuters, PWC has also recommended that Caf examine in detail the broadcast deal signed with France sports marketing company Lagardere.

The report which covers 2017-2019, may well put further pressure on CAF President Ahmad Ahmad, after supervises from FIFA  governing body were in previous corruption scandals six -month ago.

CAF President was last year accused of many wrong doing when it comes to CAF finances, when it was reported that, Ahmad had been escorted from the Berri Hotel by the Officials from France's Central Office for combating corruption and Financial and tax crime.

FIFA President ,Gianni Infantino believed the continent's reform was successfully ,PWC report may give him another thought on the nature of CAF's financial management.
