SADIO MANE'S LONE GOAL STEALS THE DAY, STRETCHES LIVERPOOL UNBEATEN RUN, SCORES 100TH GOAL

Senegalese star, Sadio Mane came from the bench to steal the day in Liverpool's 1-0 win against homesters, Norwich City on February 15, 2020.

The 27 year old scored the only goal the break the gene of 12 minutes to stoppage time at the Carrow Road to stretch their lead on the league table to 76 points, and his 100th goalin England.

Mane had been sidelined for Liverpool’s previous four matches due to hamstring injury and started among Liverpool’s substitutes on Saturday evening.

The presence of the Senegal attacker was felt immediately after replacing Gini Wijnaldum and found the net with a sublime strike past Tim Krul.

Mane took down Jordan Henderson’s ball with a delicate touch before unleashing a powerful low shot on the turn into the bottom left corner.

The lone goal win has led to a 25 point distance between the English Premier League (EPL) leaders, Liverpool and Manchester City, who are second on the league standings with 51 points.

But Klopp's men need five more wins from their remaining 12 games to clinch their first Premier League title since doing so, 30 years ago.

Manager of the Reds says, "The gap is so insane, I don't really understand it." I have not had that before. It is outstanding, so difficult.

"I go back into the changing room and we chat about the things and then I am like 'Oh, but congratulations. We won the game, another three points," Jürgen Klopp told Sky Sports.

Liverpool have been champions of England 18 times, trailing only rivals Manchester United and are looking forward to winning this season's title, having placed second last season.
