Salah's penalty miss sinks Liverpool.

Leicester managed to beat Liverpool 1:0 in the toughest game of the gameweek. Mohamed Salah miseed a penalty in the 15th minute after Wilfired Ndidi fouled him in the box. The Egyptian was expected to score from the spot, having scored his previous 15 attempts from 12 yards, but Kasper Schmeichel saved the effort. On the rebound, somehow Salah managed to miss again, hitting the crossbar with a header. Schmeichel came up clutch again with a spectacular reflex save to deny the Egyptian again on the half-hour mark.  In the second half, Sadio Mane was through on goal and looked certain to score but skied the ball over the top of the bar. His goal drought now spans to the staggering 808 minutes - 13 and a half hours of football. That miss would turn out to be costly as Ademola Lookman, who had come on three minutes beforehand, scored the only goal of the game. The former Everton forward, with his fourth touch after coming, took Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall's pass in his stride and fired a shot past Alisson - Leicester's only shot on target. Despite missing several key players, The Foxes managed to hang on to their lead in spite of Liverpool's best efforts to score late on. This result leaves Liverpool 6 points behind league leaders Man City and equal on points with Chelsea. The Blues can leapfrog Liverpool in the table tonight if they manage to beat Brighton at home. Pep's side play Brentford away.
