The Danish centre-back received a straight red card for his challenge on Adrien Truffert, a decision that Silva believes fundamentally changed the complexion of the match at Craven Cottage. The Fulham manager didn't mince words in his post-match assessment, insisting his team were robbed by poor officiating.
"We were the better side before that decision completely shifted the game," Silva declared. "The red card was harsh, and VAR should have intervened to correct what was clearly an error by the referee. My players showed tremendous character even with ten men."
