The Fulham boss slammed officials after Andersen's controversial red card helped sink the Cottagers 1-0 at home.
Marco Silva was left seething after watching his Fulham side crash to a frustrating 1-0 home defeat against Bournemouth, with the Portuguese coach launching a scathing attack on the VAR officials who sent off defender Joachim Andersen.
The Danish centre-back received a straight red card for his challenge on Adrien Truffert, a decision that Silva believes fundamentally changed the complexion of the match at Craven Cottage. The Fulham manager didn't mince words in his post-match assessment, insisting his team were robbed by poor officiating.
"We were the better side before that decision completely shifted the game," Silva declared. "The red card was harsh, and VAR should have intervened to correct what was clearly an error by the referee. My players showed tremendous character even with ten men."
The defeat represents a setback for Fulham's ambitions this season, particularly given their strong home form expectations. Silva will now need to regroup his squad quickly as they prepare for their next Premier League challenge, hoping the officials show better judgment in future encounters.
