Olympic legend Usain Bolt has tested positive for coronavirus and entered self-isolation.

The sprinter also said he is asymptomatic and is self-isolating after having his test on Saturday.

"Be safe out there," Bolt told his followers in the video he posted announcing his diagnosis.

Bolt was honoured with a surprise birthday party on August 21 which was attended by a host of big names.

Manchester City star Sterling, Bayer Leverkusen attacker Leon Bailey and cricket legend Chris Gayle are believed to have been in attendance.

Bolt holds the 100m and 200m world records and retired from the track in 2017 after suffering an injury in his final race.
