Warriors expect deadline delay to provide them $17,200,000 because of Andre Iguodala trade exception
The outbreak of the coronavirus has not only suddenly stopped the 2019-20 NBA season, but it also has generated plenty of issues if and when the campaign will resume. The Golden State warriors could earn an additional $17.2 million trade exception acquired during the Andre Iguodala, only valid if the deadline to use it is delayed.
Bob Myers, President of the warriors is expecting the league to make changes to this deadline, so it can be used in free agency.
Initially, the trade deadline was meant to expire July 7th, however, due to the delay caused by the coronavirus, the league may allow the deadline to be pushed to a more reasonable one.
