Wilfred Ndidi has Praised Coach Brendan Rodgers for improving his game.

Leicester City midfielder and Nigeria national, Wilfred Ndidi has glorified his manager Brendan Rodgers for helping him improve his game.

The 23-year-old midfielder claimed the former Liverpool coach has made him a better player since his move to the Foxes.

Ndidi who play under different coaches in Leicester City since joining them four years ago has revealed that the current manager tactics and style favors him when he is on the pitch.

"Playing under [Brendan] Rodgers has changed my game so much after from the fact that I moved from an attacking team to a possession team," Ndidi told Out of Home Podcast.

"When he [Rodgers] came, he was trying to make us understand that he will always be there for us. He makes time to meet the players individually and tries to make us understand that there is space in the sky for us to improve.

"Since he came, I won't lie to you I have improved as a player because I now understand simple things I never knew.

The Super Eagle Midfielder who think he is not disrespecting his former bosses added that his new coach always has time to explain things to him better.

"No disrespect to other mangers, Brendan took his time to explain things like understanding space, understanding the game, where you can actually be and how you can actually improve on

"One thing he has done also is encouraging the whole team and letting us know that there is no one who is irreplaceable. That is just his philosophy."

Winfield Ndidi joins Leicester City from Genk in Belgian Pro League in 2016 but made his debut for King Power Stadium giant on 7 January 2017, in a 2–1 win against Everton in the third round of the FA Cup.

He is now the Foxes reliable midfielder after N'Golo Kante left King Power to Stanford Bridge.
