Mamadou Cissokho through his Twitter account on the 9th of March, 2022, announced that he has received a Football scholarship from the University of Oregon, to join the school football team as a lineman in the 2023 class.

Cissokho, who is listed at 6”5 and weighs 290 pounds, can play both on the offensive and defensive side of the ball. In an interview with Sports Illustrated, he admitted to having never played American Football growing up, having only restricted himself to Rugby and Basketball.
However, he covers for his lack of experience with his strength, agility and willingness to learn more about the game. He started learning about the game on his own, through YouTube and reached out to one of Europe’s leading recruitment agencies called PPI recruits for assistance with his recruitment.
Cissokho is expected to feature for the Oregon Football Team as an offensive lineman and he already has a recruitment profile on one of America’s leading recruitment platforms called 247 Sports.
