Following his remarkable performance in the last few games, Bismack Biyombo agreed to a deal with the Suns until the end of the campaign. The Congolese center averaged 13.5 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 blocks in his 10-day spell in Phoenix.
The 29-year-old signed a 10-day hardship deal with the Suns due to the spike in the Covid-19 cases. He proved to be a wonderful replacement for Deandre Ayton. Biyombo might be able to unravel his full potential in Phoenix as he will have the experienced Chris Paul as a playmaker.

The team will surely benefit from this deal as this might be one of their last opportunities to win a Championship with this squad. Chris Paul is already 36 years old, while Jae Crowder and JaVale McGee are beyond 30 years of age. The rest might be in their prime, but the Suns’ point guard is undoubtedly their driving force.
The Phoenix Suns entered a 3-game winning streak after merciless wins over the Hornets, the Pelicans, and the Clippers. Following the back-to-back losses from the Warriors, they now top the League with 30 wins and 8 losses. It’s just a matter of time before their spot in the Playoffs become official.
With this signing, the Suns will increase the depth in the roster. Hence, this will allow Monty Williams to use even more rotations throughout the season. On top of that, Biyombo seems like he is not past his prime as this campaign might be his best chance at winning a Championship Ring.
