Malawi superstar Tabitha Chawinga was on target again as Olympique Lyon defeated Bayern Munich 4-1 and 6-1 on aggregate to progress into the UEFA Women’s Champions League semi-finals.
Chawinga scored in the first leg in Germany which the French giants won 2-0 to have control of the tie.
Bayern halved the deficit on aggregate when Klara Buhl found the back of the net in the 33rd minute.
Lyon however began their charge in the second half starting with Haiti’s Daelle Melchie Dumornay levelling the second leg in the 46th minute.
This was followed by Kadidiatou Diani making 2-1 to Lyon in the 54th minute before she turned provider for Chawinga on the hour mark to tap in from close range.
Lyon still had time for one more goal which came courtesy of Ada Hegerberg in the 94th minute.

Les Fenottes will now face Arsenal in the semi-finals after the English giants overturned a 2-0 first leg deficit against Real Madrid to win 3-0 and 3-2 on aggregate.
