Chelsea to sign Morocco international Hakim Ziyech from Ajax

Chelsea are said to have beaten off competition from Arsenal and Manchester United to sign Morocco international Hakim Ziyech from Ajax Amsterdam team.

The blues believed signing 26 -year -old from Ajax will help bring an extra dimension to the attack of the Chelsea team.

The player expecting a move from Ajax to Stamford Bridge when the transfer window open in the summer, which will cost Chelsea £38million. ‘Ziyech to Chelsea? A transfer was coming ,we expected it to happen”. Confirmed by Ajax Manager Erik ten Hag to Fox Sports.

“Ziyech has got everything”, said former blue striker .” He’s like Riydyad Mahrez,he can dribble and go past you, he is quit direct, he’s a great set pieces taker , he has fantastic assist record, he just sees passes . ” He just got everything in the game. “I think he’s one hell of a talent and Chelsea would be very lucky to get him.

“He destroyed Real Madrid last year, he really played a big part in Ajax getting the better of Real at the Bernabeu. “He’s a real talent who I think would be a fantastic addition to Chelsea”. Dutch football expert Marcel Van der Kraan told talkSports.

The Morocco international , who was born in the Netherlands, has been outstanding in Ajax shirt. He has scored 48 goals and provided 82 assists in 159 matches for Ajax since he arrived in 2016.
