Ngannou (15-3) gets his shot at the belt after becoming the No. 1 heavyweight contender. Meanwhile, Miocic (20-3) looks to complete a second consecutive title defense after back-to-back victories over Daniel Cormier.
The Cameroonian fighter has won four straight matches since November 2018, all by way of first-round knockout. No fight lasted longer than 71 seconds.
Ngannou’s last win saw him defeat Jairzinho Rozenstruik in just 20 seconds. That made him the top heavyweight challenger once again.
