Two times Africa’s best player, Didier Drogba support FIFA president proposal of organizing the African Cup of Nation every four years instead of two-years.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino suggested to the Confederation of African Football in Morocco to consider playing the tournament every four years instead of two years.
Ivorian legend believed this can help give a very special flavor to the tournament, ” And would give a special flavor to the trophy by rarity”. He thinks Confederation of African Football need to meet and discuss it.
Former Chelsea striker said this in France capital Paris. He led the Ivory Coast national team to beat Ghana on Penalties to lift Africa Cup in Equatorial Guinea.
Should the financial side be the main criterion behind organising the Africa Cup of Nations every four years? @FIFAcom president Mr Infantino defends his proposal by referring only to how much the #AFCON generates
