Egyptian Sara Ahmed Wins Silver In Weightlifting 81kg

Egyptian weightlifter Sara Ahmed won the silver medal in the 81 kg weightlifting event today, Saturday, at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The 26-year-old Egyptian weightlifter won the silver medal after lifting a total of 268 kilograms.

Norway’s Kwanda Solfried snatched the gold medal with a new Olympic record after lifting 275 kilograms, while the bronze medal went to Nisi Dacomis from Ecuador, one kilogram behind the Egyptian weightlifter.
