Togolese international Emanuel Adebayor has joined Paraguayan side Olimpia in South America.
2008 African Footballer of the year was without a club after he leaves the Turkish side Kayserispor in December. The 35- year old striker is well-traveled, having featured in English teams Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, and Crystal Palace. He also played for the Spanish giants Real Madrid.
He is the first Africa play to play in Parague. The Togolese striker scored 32 goals for his nation and was part of 2006 world cup squared. The former Man city striker will reunited with ex-Man city team-mate Roque Santa , the captian of Olimpia.
