English-born of Ghanaian descent Keenan Appiah-Forson has signed a professional contract with West Ham United for the first time.
The young talented midfielder has signed a professional contract with the Hammers following his exploits at the club’s youth team.
According to the West Ham media team, after Keenan Appiah-Forson signed his contract, West Ham U-18s Lead Coach Keen shared that the midfielder has fantastic talent.
“Keenan Appiah-Forson is a fantastic talent. He’s a tenacious, hard-working holding midfielder, and a real team player”, the gaffer said as quoted by whufc.com.
The 18-year-old joined West Ham United at age 16 through a scholarship in summer 2018. He was a regular in the U18 squad in 2018/19, appearing 17 times in the league.

He was handed the professional contract by West Ham United after impressing during 17 appearances for the U18s during the curtailed 2019/20 season – including opening the scoring against title rivals Chelsea in a 2-1 win.
Appiah-Forson is entitled to play for Ghana if only Ghanaian coaches are interested and can convince him to play in any level of the national teams.
