NBA superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo and his wife, Mariah Riddlesprigger, welcomed their fourth child on Friday, a girl named Aria Capri.
Mariah shared a photo of their second daughter on Instagram along with the baby’s name.
The couple, which married in Greece in 2024, have three more children—Liam Charles, 5, Maverick Shai, 4, and Eva Brooke, 2. The latest addition to the family now means the couple has two daughters and two sons.
In November, Giannis took to Instagram to subtly announce that their family was growing, with a carousel of photos that showed Mariah’s growing baby bump. The NBA star simply captioned the photos, “Livin’ life on beat.”
During an Instagram Live in 2023, Mariah revealed that Giannis wants lots of kids. “We want a large family. I don’t think we’re done,” Mariah said. “We’re definitely not done.”
The Bucks star and his longtime girlfriend said, “I do” at a “hybrid” Greek Orthodox and Catholic ceremony in Greece in early September 2024.
After three days of an incognito (to the extent possible) wedding party, the couple got married at Costa Navarino in southern Greece.
The joyous event was celebrated by 200 guests and 30 VVIPs from the sports world, including the families of the newlyweds, friends of the couple, and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis with his wife Mareva Grabowski.
The new baby comes just days after the Milwaukee Bucks were eliminated by the Pacers from the 2025 Playoffs. Bouncing back, Giannis is expected to represent Greece in the Eurobasket 2025 before focusing on the NBA Preseason and the 2025-26 Regular season.
