The Portuguese international and formal Manager of Chelsea Jose Mourinho has revealed that he told the owner of the club to buy him the Ivorian international instead of Ronaldinho.
Mourinho who joined Chelsea in 2004 when the Russian rich man takes over the club and lead them to win their first league trophy in 51 years has disclosed it that, Roman Abramovic has asked him he want to buy Ronaldinho from Barcelona to Chelsea.

Drogba moved to Chelsea in 2004 for a club-record fee of 24 million and making him the most expensive Ivorian player by then. He helped the club to win it first English Premier League title which they never won in a long time.
He also scored the last penalty shoot-out for Chelsea to win its first Champions League trophy in Munich. He played 134 matches for the blues and scored 157 goals in his eight years with the club.
