Ghana defender John Boye has signed a one – year- contract extension at French Ligue 1 club FC Metz.
The 33-year old joined FC Metz in 2018 from the Turkish side Sivasspor and has extended his contract which, will keep him till 2021. The club made this announcement on its website on Thursday.

“The Ghanaian international had an option of an additional year and is therefore now linked with the club at the Croix de Lorraine until June 2021,” according to the club official outlet (FC Metz) in its press release.
The former Stade Rennes defender played 25 matches and netted 2 goals last term as FC Metz finished 15th on the standings.
