Although the Oklahoma Thunder’s point guard, Josh Giddey, was off to a hesitant first couple of games, he managed to pick up his game and is now one of the best rookies in the NBA. He improved his performance and he is on a 5-game streak with at least 14 points to his name. The Australian point guard joined some an amazing list of players with what he had already achieved in the League. Sharing the glory with LeBron James and LaMelo Ball, he becomes the third teenager in the NBA history to have at least 100 points and 100 rebounds in his first 20 games span.
Not only has Josh Giddey improved his shooting, but he is also a vital defensive player for the OKC Thunder. He already has to his name two double-doubles against the Houston Rockets and the Milwaukee Bucks. The rookie is surely getting closer and closer to an achievement that doesn’t come so easily in today’s NBA – a triple-double. He is definitely one of the most versatile playmakers in the League as his numbers further support this statement. Giddey averages 10.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game. He might soon start to contest players like Chris Paul, Ja Morant, Luka Doncic, and Russell Westbrook.
The sheer courage and confidence to pull off such a pass in front of Lakers fans!!! #Giddey
