French midfielder Blaise Matuidi is set to join MLS side Inter Miami pending the successful completion of a medical.
According to Sky Sports, the 33-year-old will sign fir David Beckham’s franchise on a free transfer, tearing up the final year of his contract.
The report suggests that a deal between the two clubs was reached allowing Matuidi to undergo a medical in the French capital.
Matuidi started his professional journey with Troyes and also played for Saint-Etienne, before joining Paris Saint-Germain in 2011.
He spent six years in the French capital, winning the Ligue 1 title four times and making just under 300 appearances for them.
Juventus signed him in 2017 for a reported fee of €25 million, and he continued his winning habits by adding three Serie A titles with the Old Lady to his tally.
The Old Ladies have been heavily hit following the coronavirus crisis with Aaron Ramsey and Gonzalo Higuain also facing uncertain futures.
