UFC fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov has made his predictions for UFC 251 on Fight Island next month with wins for Kamaru Usman, Max Holloway and Petr Yan.
Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island is set to host UFC 251 on July 11 as the organisation attempt to host showpiece fight nights amid the coronavirus pandemic.
According to UFC president Dana White, three big fights with welterweights Kamaru Usman and Gilbert Burns set to face off in the headline bout.
Other fights on the bill are Alexander Volkanovski taking on Max Holloway for the featherweight championship and Jose Aldo scheduled fighting Petr Yan in the bantamweight division.
Undefeated Khabib backed his winners in a succinct message shared on Twitter.
He tweeted: “Usman, Yan, Holloway.”
Khabib’s next fight will be at UFC 253 on September 19, a year since his last time in the Octagon when he beat Dustin Poirier.
The Russian fighter was due to fight Tony Ferguson at UFC 249 earlier this year but the coronavirus pandemic saw him unable to leave his home country.
Justin Gaethje stepped in and beat Ferguson to win the interim lightweight title and will face Khabib at UFC 253.
