The New York Knicks are reportedly set to interview Ime Udoka as they search for a new head coach.
Udoka is currently the assistant coach of Philadelphia 76ers and is one of the highly-rated coaches in the NBA.
The 42-year-old is currently in high demand, having also worked under Gregg Popovich as an assistant with the San Antonio Spurs.
He is said to have been key in Spurs’ recruitments, including the signing of LaMarcus Aldridge to the team.
The Athletic reports that Udoka will be interviewed by the Knicks for the head coach job, although he is not the favourite.
The Knicks may possible be looking for a more experience head, but Udoka is not out of suitors as other sides have reportedly shown interest.
