NBA star LeBron James has officially confirmed his support for the Joe Bidden and Kamala Harris ticket.
The 35-year old said he will join the campaign team of the duo, as they seek to unset Donald Trump as President.
James made this known on VICE TV’s “Cari & Jemele: Stick To Sports” where he said the US badly needs change.
“We are at a time where we need change. In order for change, it’s all about leadership — and leadership starts at the top,” he said.
This is not the first time that James is actively campaigning for a Presidential candidate, having done so for Hillary Clinton during the 2016 Presidential polls.
He even once joined her on stage for a rally in Ohio, although Hillary eventually lost to Trump.
James has a long history with Trump, with the pair having traded jabs in the past, culminating in the NBA star describing Trump as a bum.
Biden, though, has endeared himself to the black community after picking Kamala Harris, also a black, as his running mate.
