According to Jeff Sneider of Collider, James will produce the Netflix movie called “Hustle” that will feature Sandler. The Lakers star is producing the movie under his Springhill Entertainment banner.
The said movie will reportedly focus on a disgraced American basketball scout who was fired from his job. The said scout — played by Sandler — then tries to make a comeback by bringing a foreign generational-type talent to the U.S. in a bid to make it to the NBA.
LeBron James is starring in the upcoming “Space Jam 2” just like his idol Michael Jordan played the protagonist role in “Space Jam.” The Lakers superstar also played himself in the movie “Trainwreck” alongside actress Amy Schumer and actor Bill Hader.
The 2019-20 NBA season was suspended in March after Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID-19. LeBron and the Lakers had the best record in the Western Conference before games were suspended.
In his second season with the Lakers, James was averaging 25.7 points, 7.9 rebounds and 10.6 assists. The four-time MVP and three-time champion was also shooting 49.8 percent from the field.
NBA owners are hopeful of resuming the season in the summer. Until sports are back on, we will have to continue to rely on Youtube highlights to get our basketball fix.
