Manager for Leicester City, Brendan Rodgers has heaped praises on Super Eagle’s striker, Kelechi Iheanacho, following the team’s 4-0 win over Aston Villa at the King Power Stadium on Monday night.
Speaking to BBC Sports after the game, Rodgers stressed that the former Manchester City starlet and Nigerian professional, put in a lot of hard work in their thrashing of Aston Villa.

He noted that, Jamie Vardy has been struggling a little bit since mid-December with injuries which has curtailed the team.
“But Kelechi has done great for us, he worked very, very hard. Then Jamie coming on for the final half hour, you know his speed and threat he has, Rogers, said.”
Kelechi had chances to increase his tally for the season but was frustrated when he left the pitch, and replaced with Vardy on the 60th minute.
The 23 year old has not scored for Leicester City since finding the net against Aston Villa in the League Cup semifinal, second leg on January 28.
