United – who are plotting a £160m double move for James Maddison and Jack Grealish – could do with cover at center-back even though the pairing of Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof now looks pretty solid.
The Ghanaian defender has started every league game this season except against Barcelona at Camp Nou, where he started on the bench but came on after 32 minutes for the injured Nacho.
