Michael Jordan has been very busy in recent weeks. The NBA legend recently had a docuseries made about his life and career in basketball.
Titled ‘The Last Dance’, the 10-part docuseries examine Jordan’s legacy, impact, and portrayal in the popular sport.
While ‘The Last Dance’ has generated a lot of talk, one other part of MJ’s life that it shined light on is his love for golf.
The 57-year-old American is as passionate about golf as he is about basketball and, indeed, many believe he could have turned out to be a golfer had he not taken to the latter sport
After retirement, Jordan has been filling his time with practices on the golf court.
If playing the game endears him to people, his fashion sense and style on the golf course is even more iconic.
He demonstrates a high level of swag on the green; so much so that one of tempted to think he has a special wardrobe for such occasions.
Jordan is not like your usual golfer who goes onto golf courses wearing flannels and jerseys. He’s different.
He prefers to be in his polo and sweater vest pairings, neatly complemented by his collection of sleek white Nikes.
Even more fashionable, he sometimes prefers striped shorts – usually a colour which matches his bucket hats.
“I actually left school early to go pro in ’84 – and one of my friends, John Simpkins, was on the golf team. And he took me out to play with another basketball player, Al Wood, and Davis Love. I made par the first time I ever played, and I’ve been hooked ever since,” Jordan told PGATour.com in May about how he fell in love with golf.
“I don’t know; I may have been better then than now because I didn’t know what to expect. But I love the game of golf. It takes a lot of the competitive juices that I left on the basketball court to now.”
A legendary figure in the NBA, Jordan has also always been an iconic figure whenever he steps on the golf course.
