Morocco has been ranked as the best-performing country in the Caf Champions League and the Confederation Cup over the last five years.
The Confederation of African Football (Caf) on Tuesday, revealed the ranking of countries based on performances of their teams in the continental tournaments ahead of the new season.
According to the CAF, the top 12 teams on the continent are able to field two teams each in the CAF Champions League and also the CAF Confederations Cup competitions.
Nations outside the best performing countries are each required to field a team each in the elite CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederations.
Morocco lead the table as the best performing country with 180 points, followed by Egypt and Tunisia with 147 and 140 points, respectively.
DR Congo, Algeria, South Africa, Zambia, Nigeria, Guinea, Angola, Sudan and Libya complete the standings.
