The Los Angeles Lakers went up 2-0 in the Western Conference finals with a 105-103 win over the Denver Nuggets.
Forward Anthony Davis was scintillating in the second half, scoring the final 10 points of the game.
Lakers used the game to honour legend Kobe Bryant, who passed away earlier this year after being involved in a helicopter crash.

“Special moment for me, a special moment for the team,” a delighted Davis said in the aftermath of the game.
“Especially in a situation like that trying to go up 2-0 against a special team, who are great competitors and [fought] for the entire 48 minutes.
“To do something like in the jerseys we wore tonight makes it even more special.”
Despite blowing a 16-point lead in the third quarter, LeBron James scored 26 points and 11 rebounds for the Lakers.
These #Lakers beat the #Nuggets and won Game 2. Anthony Davis hits that #gamewinner and Lakers up 2-0. These Nuggets can comeback but they did not do the job. Lakers will need to limit their turnovers for Game 3. Let's go Lakers and let's win Game 3. #LakeShow pic.twitter.com/lP3F1DR2aB

James attributed the win to the belief of his teammates and the desire to win against every opponent.
“It’s not about making the shot. It’s about having the belief with just taking it for one and living with the result,” he said.
