Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar has accused Olympique Marseille’s Alvaro Gonzalez of racism.
The two players were involved in a heated exchange during Sunday’s Ligue 1 clash, in what was a chaotic ending to the game.
In all, there were 13 yellow cards flashed with five red cards, one of which was shown to Neymar for slapping Gonzalez at the back of his head.
The Brazilian left the pitch in anger and a pitchside microphone caught him saying the defender racially abused him.
Neymar then took to Twitter to continue his allegations, saying he only regrets not hitting Gonzalez in the face.

“The only regret I have is not hitting this idiot in the face,” he started in a series of tweets.
“VAR catching my ‘aggression’ is easy … now I want to see the image of the racist who called me a ‘MONKEY SON OF A B*TCH.’ I’d really like that! If I do a ‘rainbow flick’ you punish me. For a slap, I’m sent off. And them? So what?”
Meanwhile, Gonzales equally took to Twitter to deny Neymar’s claims, labelling the Brazilian a bad loser.
“There is no place for racism. A clean career and with many teammates and friends on a day-to-day basis,” the Marseille defender wrote.
“Sometimes you have to learn how to lose and accept it on the field. Incredible three points today, Allez l’OM thank you family.”
