Only three African countries have qualified for the Round of 16 knock-out stage of the ongoing FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile.
This follows the conclusion of the group stage games played on Monday morning.
The three African countries are Nigeria, South Africa and Morocco.
Nigeria’s Flying Eagles drew 1-1 with Colombia in their last group game on Monday morning to progress to the last-16 stage.
The Round of 16 fixtures will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, respectively.
Nigeria’s Round of 16 fixture is against Argentina on Wednesday night.
South Africa will also face Colombia on Wednesday, while Morocco will tackle South Korea on Friday.
The winners of the encounter will progress to the quarter-final stage.

Only Egypt failed to Qualify.
