Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo moves to Mancherster United on loan

Formal Waterford striker Odion Ighalo is on a loan to English giant Manchester.

The 30-year-old Nigeria international moved to the premier league as a back-up to  Marcus Rasford who got injured in the FA cup replay match between Man United and Wolves. United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said” Ighalo is expirence striker and he can score more goals.”

He scored 39 goals in 99 games for Waterford in the English Premier League between 2014 and 2017 year. The striker moved to the Chinese Super League in 2017 to play for Changchun Yatai and after two seasons he signed to Shanghu Shenuna and scored 10 goals in 19 games.

Ighalo was the top goal scorer in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nation in Egypt with 5 goals and also finished with seven goals in the qualifiers to the tournament. He played 34 matches for Nigeria Super Eagle and scored 16 goals.
