Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has agreed a new three-year contract with Arsenal, according to reports.
The Gabonese striker, who has less than a year left on his contract, scored twice in the final as Mikel Arteta’s side won a record 14th FA Cup last season.
His current deal with the Gunners is due to expire next summer where he would then be able to leave on a free transfer.
However, The Athletic claim Aubameyang will sign a new contract and become the club’s highest earner on his new deal, surpassing Mesut Ozil’s reported £350,000-a-week wages.

Aubameyang has netted 71 goals in 110 appearances since joining Arsenal for £56million from Borussia Dortmund in January 2018.
Despite contract talks dragging on for months, Arteta has always had faith that Aubameyang would commit his future to Arsenal.
Speaking after Arsenal’s victory over Chelsea in the FA Cup final last month, Arteta claimed that he wanted Aubameyang to become a focal part of his side. ‘He knows what I think about him, I want to build a squad around him,’ said the Arsenal manager.
